Most monthly programs are open to both members and non-members. However, some will have space or venue limitations and will need pre-registration. Indoor programs will typically be held in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level of the Emmaus Baptist Church, 712 Linden Street N, Northfield, Minnesota. Parking is located on the south side of the church.

Emmaus Church parking lot, 712 N Linden St., Northfield, MN.
A selection of native species grown by Nancy Schumacher, retired proprietor of the Vagary. Plus tomato and pepper plants, and a few herbs.
Nancy will offer pre-sales at her home to our members and to participants in the local Lawns to Legumes program starting on Saturday, May 8th. Please contact her by email at [email protected] or by phone at 507 263 5369 (land line, no text capability) to setup an appointment. Receipts will be available for those that wish or need them.
Thursday, June 10th, 6:30pm: Koester Prairie/Prairie Creek tour of early summer prairie flowers – Dave Kuhnau and Craig Koester (In-person event – no Zoom)
Bring your binoculars as you’ll see plenty of birds too. Additionally, a late May birding tour hosted by the Friends of Prairie Creek will be led by Jerry Hoeckstra. We will pass on the information on the birding tour.
We need to control the size of this June 10th tour so will be asking people to sign up for it. The amount of advertising we do will depend on how many members sign up first. You can sign up by sending an email to Barb Bolan ([email protected]) indicating how many people are in your group that plans to attend. No charge, no cancellation penalties.
